I had to format my PC today- obviously GW2 got wiped too. I'm trying to redownload it right now, but the download speed is at 110kb/s, and it does not rise above it. I'm pretty sure because It's been like that a few hours ago. Is there any mirror of the client, or a way to download it faster? Added a movement speed penalty/input restriction to Fire Rose and Frost Rose while charging (functions the same as Future Cactus while charging) Decreased projectile damage from 10.5 to 9.5 Decreased maximum turn angle for projectiles from 45 degrees to 40 degrees.

Come join us in celebrating Wintersday—Toymaker Tixx has made his annual visit to Divinity's Reach to spread seasonal cheer and festivity! Bring the cheer of Wintersday to the distant north in the Secret Lair of the Snowmen, complete daily achievements to earn fanciful holiday weapons, save Wintersday for the orphans around Divinity's Reach by giving them wrapped gifts, and test your snow-throwing skills against other players in Snowball Mayhem. You can also experience the joy of jumping in Winter Wonderland, defend against waves of toys in Toypocalypse, and help keep Tixx's airship, the Infinirarium, in order! Keep an eye out for Wintersday Gifts appearing all around Tyria, too.

• The Wintersday annual meta-achievement, Wintersday Traditions, has been updated with a new armor reward: the Festive Winter Hood! Keep your head warm while enjoying the wintry fun. Last year's meta-achievement reward, the Festive Sweater, can now be purchased from festival rewards vendors.
• A new weapon set upgrade is now available! If you have added Wrapped weapons to your wardrobe by completing Wintersday daily achievements, speak with the festival rewards Charity Corp Seraph in Divinity's Reach to trade your precious Snow Diamonds for cheerful Sparkling Wrapped weaponry!
• Wintersday toymakers have completed their line of Candy Cane weaponry. The full Candy Cane weapon set is now available as a rare prize from Wintersday Gifts, and the minty Wintergreen variant is available from the final chest in the Secret Lair of the Snowmen.
• New winter-themed guild decorations have been added.
• A number of festival-related bugs have been fixed to ensure a happy holiday for all heroes.Wintersday will be active until January 5 at noon Pacific Time (UTC-8). See you in Divinity's Reach!

Living World

• Fixed a bug in which the final boss music would not play in the Metrica Province Dragon Response Mission.

General

• Added local and nonlocal versions to the sound effect for leveling up. Players will continue to hear their own level-up sound the same as before, but the sound of another player leveling up will be much quieter.

Structured Player vs. Player

The antihealing effect used in overtime in Team Deathmatch maps has been adjusted slightly in preparation for future mini-seasons:

• Any active barrier is now removed when overtime begins.
• Any barrier applied during overtime is now instantly removed.
• Illusion of Life and the self-revive component of the Glyph of Renewal (Fire) no longer revive players during overtime.

• Changed the chests rewarded at the end of Dragon Response Missions to allow them to be looted via the AoE Loot on Interact and Autoloot options.
• When the boss of a Dragon Response Mission is defeated, all defeated players in the map will now be revived.
• Fixed a bug that caused the Wild Flame tornadoes created by the Destroyer of the Great Bridge's Burning Call skill to launch players into the stratosphere.
• Failing a time limit challenge in Dragon Response Missions no longer forces players to exit the mission.
• Fixed an issue that would cause the strength of bosses in Dragon Response Missions to scale based on players in the map rather than players in the event area.

• Break Enchantments: Reduced the numbers of boons removed from 4 to 2 in WvW only. Reduced cooldown from 25 seconds to 15 seconds in WvW only. Increased power coefficient from 0.1 to 0.5 in WvW only.
• Roaring Reveille: This trait no longer increases the maximum number of targets of warhorn skills.
• Warhorn Skills: Increased the maximum number of targets from 5 to 10 in PvE only.
• Vigorous Shouts: Reduced healing coefficient from 1.0 to 0.64 in PvP only.
• 'To the Limit!': Reduced base heal from 7,735 to 6,575 in PvP only. Reduced endurance granted from 100 to 50 in PvP only.

New Release: ChampionsChapter 1—Truce

With Jormag fully awakened, Tyria slips ever closer toward calamity. But another menace lurks below the surface, and it will be up to the commander to hold the line as new threats erupt. Gather your allies and ready your weapons in the first chapter of the climactic finale of The Icebrood Saga.

• Rallying to the side of their champion, the Order of the Crystal Bloom are marshaling in the Eye of the North. Complete daily achievements on their behalf to aid their efforts and earn rewards. As the world completes tiers of progress, everyone who helps will earn extra rewards from the Crystal Bloom's quartermaster!

Voice-Over Updates: No Quarter and Jormag Rising

• Episodes 3 and 4 of The Icebrood Saga, 'No Quarter' and 'Jormag Rising,' have been updated to include voice-over. Two new achievements have been added for completing each episode's story chapters with voice-over added.
• An option has been added to the Scrying Pool at the Eye of the North that allows players to replay specific moments from the Confer with Bangar achievement so that they can experience those exchanges again with voice-over.

World Polish

• Fixed a bug that caused snow trolls to inadvertently self-destruct if they were killed while charging their jump skill.

Drizzlewood Coast

• Reduced the time required to capture control points while assaulting Dominion bases in the Battle Cry meta-event.
• Reduced the number of enemies that needs to be defeated in order to advance while escorting allies to assault Dominion bases in the Battle Cry meta-event.
• United Legions forces have begun a campaign to raise awareness of the paratrooper airdrop locations in Drizzlewood Coast. Players entering the map will receive a mail with more information.
• Added an airdrop location over the Iron Lookout in the northern half of Drizzlewood Coast.
• One chest from each cache keeper has been moved to Wolf's Crossing. These chests will appear upon successful completion of the Battle Cry meta-event, and they still require a cache key to open.
• Two guaranteed cache keys have been added to the Magnificent Chest that appears upon successful completion of the Battle Cry meta-event.
• Increased the flow rate for the Blood of Jormag in the Assault on the Frost Citadel meta-event.
• Since winter is around the corner, the guardian elemental seems to be getting a bit tougher! Its defense has been increased in the Assault on the Frost Citadel meta-event.

General

• Fixed a bug that blocked players from progressing the Journeyman of the Forge achievement if they unlocked a Dragonsblood weapon skin before unlocking the Journeyman of the Forge achievement. Affected players can repair their achievement progress by visiting Thunderhead Peaks or any city.
• Fixed a bug with the Medizooka that was affecting jumping puzzles and no-mount zones.
• Fixed a bug with the upgraded EMP skill in which it was improperly indicating the maximum range.

Guardian

• Bow of Truth: Fixed a bug in which this skill would not function properly underwater.

Necromancer

• Minions: Fixed a bug that could cause minions to fail to be resummoned when mounting and unmounting too quickly.

Ranger

• Counterattack Kick: Fixed a bug that allowed this skill to be activated multiple times in quick succession.

Thief

• Fixed a bug in which stolen skills would not consume ammunition when interrupted.

World vs. World

General

• Tactic banners (Dragon Banner, Centaur Banner, Turtle Banner) are now restricted to the general area around the objective they are spawned in. Leaving the objective area while carrying a tactic banner will display a warning message, and failing to return to the objective area within the allocated time will destroy the banner.
